The Beavers meet every Monday night from 6 pm to 7:15 pm. The Beaver Leaders are Josephine and Jess and can be contacted by sending an email to beavers@dalkeyscouts.ie. The Beavers meet for an hour and a quarter every week and is for boys and girls aged between 6 and 8. At these meetings the Beavers begin to learn about Scouting and what that means, and we have loads of fun along the way. The emphasis in Beavers is learning through fun using the Pawprint Badge Scheme. Our Beaver section does not do overnight activities but take part in Day Events, Hikes, etc... We also take part in County and National Events and try to have at least one outdoor meeting a month during both winter and summer. We are a very busy and fun filled Section and because of this we always have a waiting list so the earlier a child applies to join the better the chance of securing a place...
