This will be taking place over the weekend of 20th to 22nd of June in Powerscourt. The scouts decided as there 100 project for the centenary that they wanted to go back in time and hold a camp in the style that may have taken place then.

so NO mod cons allowed except for sleeping bag, carry mat and torch. Everything else must have been around 100 years ago.

sounds Fun.

How will they survive without their mobile phones.

this activity was chosen by the Patrol Leaders, we hope everyone will do a bit of research to try and find out what they can bring. some no's are of course mobile phones, computer games etc.

Any Sweets or Drinks not around in 1908 will also not be allowed, so get your thinking caps on.
